5 Natural Ways For Facial Pores Minimization

As always, concerned about my reader’s health, I am back with my post on natural ways to stay healthy. This time it is all about the facial pores, which 90% of the population is worried about. Generally people apply ready-made face packs followed by some moisturisers, which are so costly and accordingly not effective. Thereby, I introduce you to some natural ways to prepare face packs for facial pore reduction. Comparatively, they are less costly and unduly effective.


1. Tomato Juice:

Tomatoes are a very popular vegetable as they are tasty and can be consumed in numerous ways like directly or in the form of salads or juices or cooked with other vegetables. Tomato constitutes Vitamins A and C and so constitutes the tomato juice , which possess natural antioxidant and astringent properties. Vitamin C proves to be a boon for reducing pores.

If you have acne prone skin, you can mix 1 ½ tablespoon of tomato juice with ½ tablespoon seaweed powder. Stir the solution and apply it on your face gently with a cotton ball and rinse off after 20 minutes. Moreover,  a face pack can be prepared by blending tomato pulp with fuller’s earth, sandalwood powder, and a pinch of turmeric powder.


 

2. Curd And Gram Flour:

Gram flour commonly known as besan has been traditionally used extensively for its health benefits.Gram flour alongwith curd can help you tighten the facial pores. All you need to do is prepare a paste by mixing 2 tablespoons of curd with 1 tablespoon gram flour and apply it on your face for 20 minutes. Thereafter wash of this mixture with cold water and your skin is toned up.


 

3. Honey And Lemon Juice:

The benefits of lemon on your skin are aplenty, but apart from that it’s astringent properties can help shrink pores temporarily.Honey, on the other hand, possesses some anti-microbial properties and act as a natural humectant, which helps preserve the moisture in your skin. Therefore, a blend of these two can can help minimizing facial pores to a great extent. Just mix 1 tablespoon honey with ½ tablespoon fresh lemon juice and a pinch of sugar and your face pack is ready. Massage it on your face slowly with the tips of your fingers in circular motions. Retain it for 5 minutes and then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Remember not to rub off the mixture with a towel.


 

4. Green Tea:

Green tea, in general, is regarded as the best beverage that ever existed. Incorporating certain antioxidants and nutrients, green tea is widely useful for health, one of which is tightening of the pores achieved by the tannin present in it that helps remove toxins and other irritants from your skin. Just mix 1 tablespoon green tea powder with 3 tablespoons water and allow the mixture to settle for 5 minutes. Thereafter, whip an egg white with 2 teaspoons flour and blend it with the green tea mixture. Apply and rinse off with lukewarm water after 20 minutes.


 

5. Besan And Turmeric Powder:

As mentioned above, gram flour(Besan) alongside certain other substances can prove to be a boon for your health. What if, blended with another healthy substance?  Turmeric powder is another such substance known for its skin benefits. Both gram flour and turmeric powder are equally effective in curing open pores. Just mix 1 tablespoon of besan,  ½ tablespoon of turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon curd and 1 drop of olive oil and refrigerate the paste for 20 minutes. Now apply it on your face for about 20 minutes and then wash off. Thereafter, rub an ice cube on your face followed by application of some moisturiser.
